DISTRICT RETENTION PROGRAM

Have each club assign a Retention chairman. This duty could be shared with Membership or other duties.

Ask every Lion in your club to serve on a project, committee or function.

Contact each Lion three days prior to each club meeting. Have a good program.

If a Lion misses two consecutive meetings, contact the Lion. Make the Lion feel wanted and needed.

If you have a Lion who has recently dropped of your club try and see if you can get the Retention Form completed. If it is in the best interest of the club have your Zone Chairman, etc to get the form completed. forward the form to your Zone Chairman. The form ask that this interview by completed by a member of your club and the Zone Chairman. for logistics reason this may not always be feasible for Zone Chairman.

It is much easier to retain a Lion than recruit a new member. KEEP YOUR MEMBERS.

For any help contact PDG John Stegall, district Retention Chairman.
